The Garlic Chives are still thriving here in West TN. Even after 2 freezes that killed most of my other flowers.
They smell wonderful the bees cover them in spring and Summer! All parts of the plant can be used for cooking.

How wonderful to see edible green in your garden. My chives barely grew this year....

Connie, your garlic chives look great. I have a small pot of chives on my back deck.

This is the first year I have winter over my bay tree outside on the back deck. So far it has survived a couple of nights at 27 degrees without being covered. My sage, Greek oregano, rosemary, and mint are green and doing fine too. I did lose my thyme. There is something about thyme that I have a hard time keeping it alive.

Definitely a different year, weather-wise. Dec 15 & I picked lettuce & spinach out in the high tunnel & even kale from outside garden-up here in Northern Michigan!

When asked “How are you?”, I reply, “Better than good!”
