Thanks for the advice Mary Beth-

Nora is doing great. She is growing and is staying awake a little bit more everyday. It has been cloudy and icky here lately most days so I am looking forward to more sunny days outside with her.

You could probably dig them up as a clump with lots of soil around them and transfer them but don't divide them until after blooming.
Hows the baby? MB

Thanks Marybeth!

I found tulips along side my apartment that I did not know were there. I am sure they have been there for a long time so I am sure there will be tons of bulbs.

Just wondering- Is it okay to dig them before they flower and separate? I would love to move some to my front yard and put them under my crab apple so they will actually get seen. But if not I guess it will just have to wait till next year- or I will go buy some new ones! :)

After they have flowered, remove the flower and let the foliage die back then the bulb is ready to take out of the ground. Summer it over in a cool place--box of sawdust etc--and replant in the fall. If it is a large clump then you surely will have lots of new bulbs.
