Posted - Apr 15 2007 : 2:38:13 PM My landlords require that we mow the lawn ourselves. Last year our downstairs neighbors owned a mower and did the entire yard (even though we volunteered!), but they moved away in January. So this spring found us without a mower but a strong desire to do the lawn work.
On a local free classified ad site I found an ad for a mower for $40. But the best thing is…it is a self-propelled Electric mower that does both bagging and mulching! Yay! I am so happy and am hoping to get it home this week. The only problem is that the mower is about 45 miles away and I don’t have a truck. I think that if I unbolt the handle I can get the engine part into my trunk and then the bag and handle can either go on top of the engine part or they can go into the inside of the car.
I am so excited!

What a great deal! This must have been the weekend for the best buys. Most of the mowers we've had had a fairly easy way to fold or detach the handle. Have fun cutting grass.
