Mom and I took a trip down to San Francisco for the annual Flower and Garden Show last month and this garden may the entire trip worth it. I was amazed how much they made the garden truly look like it was "Under the Sea". The bronze sculptures help set the stage, but the succulents were the true stars.

I know it's not a farmgirl garden necessarily, but it sure is creative. Hope you like it.

About the patio set - I was thinking I could get a glass top and put it on just about any base (Paint it chalky blue) and take lichen and rounded shells (no sharp stuff) and attach them. I am not sure if I would do anything special for the chairs except maybe cushions and paint them to match the table (chalky blue or silver), because the chairs in the display garden were unique, but way off base as far as comfort and affordability.

That is a really neat concept garden! I bet your garden room with look amazing- especially with such inspiring photos to look back on.

The shower was beautiful, but I am not so sure about the patio set. They look amazing but I think they would a *tad* uncomfortable! ;p

Isn't the shower cool? I really want to use the pictures to help me design a garden like that at my house (much smaller scale), since we live near the ocean I thought it would be a nice garden room. I asked my husband if we could design a water feature using our agates and copper piping, I think it would look really neat.

Also I can't afford the red coral on the table, but I thought I could find a really cool piece of wood, paint it orange/red and attach lichen and shells to it, to get the same affect.

I have tons more pictures of the garden because it’s so inspiring. I am glad you all like it as I do.

Oh my gosh- that's beautiful! There are so many succulents that I have never seen before tucked in that display. And I want that shower. So cool!

I like succulents. I have some of the hen and chicks and a plant called spice cactus... not much..but they are certainly unique and pretty.that was certainly a beautiful display you saw.

Yeah, I agree. It's funny because I just didn't understand the interest in succulents. But after seeing the garden display, now I think they are the coolest plants ever. Isn't it amazing the things that spark your interests?
