o.k. gals..my hubby has been looking at greenhouse ideas/plans to build me a green house..but here's the thing..I do not want a hoop house design, or something made with plastic sheeting(like visqueen looking stuff)
I'm wanting it made from the thicker plastic sheets, the solid panels.
Do anyone of you out there have ideas/plans or know where to steer us for a nice design to make our own?
Thanks in advance.
(If he can't find the type I'm thinking of..we may have to order one of the pre fab types.)

But anyhow..want to give the other options a look see first.

Thanks gals!

Tina, it is not yet complete as we have not gotten the plastic up yet, but we turned the front porch (we have a front porch and a mudroom as well as a deck) into the greenhouse. IT was not heated but we ran a short tube from the livingroom to the greenhouse to heat it when needed. We kept two of the windows at either end for ventilation and it is jus awesome! I cannot wait to start using it. We have to fid the plastic though.

If you have a place like that that you can work one into the side of your house with access from inside I really reccommend it. I think it is one of the best ideas we hae had yet with regard to our gardening/growinf/farming experience.

Hi Robin,
thanks..in fact the farmtek design will be my back up plan if we decide to go that route, but my husband thinks that he can build me a nice one for perhaps a little less and maybe even a bit more space.
I found a few ideas online to show him.
Thanks so much!

Tina,
Sorry the only things I would send your way would be found by doing a web search which it sounds like you are already doing. I want to have a green house too so please share whatever you find out when you get the chance. Thank you!
Hugz!
