Posted - Mar 20 2007 : 3:41:10 PM I would like to sell my farm fresh eggs in our local farmer's market here in Tennessee. I would also like to sell a few plants from my flower garden. Is there any laws, regs. regarding selling my few dozen eggs, or few plants? |

Posted - May 13 2007 : 11:57:16 PM I believe eggs are under a state's dept. of Agriculture. We had a lady here who couldn't sell eggs because she didn't have right kind of state documentation. Here in WA if you want to sell plants you have to get an additional business license just for being a "nursery". Hope that helps.

I found this on Google. I didn't read it so I am not sure if it governs all Tenn. farmers markets or just Nashville...
