It is sad to see empty planters in my area. So I'm carrying flower seed packets to sprinkle some in bare areas. I'm even considering including mammoth sunflower seeds.

Giant sunflowers are always gorgeous for Summer. Great idea, Vanessa and take some photos of what happens!

I think the fun part will be when they wonder how the sunflowers got there (they are about 6 ft. high).

Vanessa, I hear ya. I have been cleaning out old seeds because I look at it this way, if they come up, great. Fills the bare areas. If they don’t then they were not doing anything in the box anyway and I make space for new seeds next summer when hopefully Covid is over. We will have to compare notes and see what comes up!
