Posted - Feb 06 2007 : 6:24:03 PM I am looking for a specific seed catalog but I can't remember the name of it so I'm wondering if any of you ladies may have come across it and could remind me what it's called...lol
The cover is usually more of a painting or art type instead of photos of plants and it doesn't have a whole lot of pictures inside like many catalogs. I don't think it's got any genetically modified seeds, I think it had quite a few herbs and the whole thing reminded me of an older style catalog...if that makes any sense. The last one I got had some seed kits to make for gifts, like to give out at a shower or something of the sort. I believe they had a website but I can't say for sure.
If any of you have any idea what I'm talking about please feel free to throw your ideas out there for me! Thank you!

Posted - Feb 07 2007 : 11:52:59 AM could it be shepherd. shepard in california? they always had nice pen and ink with a little watercolor thrown in, they also had seed collections, ie sunflowers, salsa, herbs, etc. anyway it was a good catalogue. the most informative catalogue i think is the richters from canada. hope this might help.

Posted - Feb 07 2007 : 06:27:39 AM None of those appear to be the one I'm looking for but thank you all so much for offering your ideas! I don't think the inside was printed on newsprint...I wish I could remember more about it, I'll just have to keep looking. Thanks again ladies! ![](icons/icon_smile.gif)

Posted - Feb 06 2007 : 8:17:12 PM might be Shumways? It is a larger than normal catalog on a newsprint type paper. Then the inside is more like drawings. Very old fashioned looking.

Posted - Feb 06 2007 : 8:02:44 PM Is it The Cooks Garden? I keep their catalog because of the pictures. Woodblocks that are acrylic/ watercolor painted. Sooooooo beautiful. Maybe one day I'll decoupage them onto something. www.cooksgarden.com
