I just wondered if anyone had a membership to Seed Savers?
If it is worth it & if you were able to swap seeds?
Thanks!

Blessings,

I'm going to become a member as soon as I have the spare funds. Besides being able to trade seeds with other members, you get three publications every year which are worth the cost of the membership alone. You wouldn't believe the variety that still exists in the plant world until you've thumbed through one of their yearbooks! And what a great cause to be involved with.

oh and...they have more heirloom varieties than I have been able to find in one place before. they are also very helpful....ike this last season we got peppers and only netted a few from over 20 plants. They gavce us a full refund on all of the plants because they didn't produce.

We are Seed Savers members. I think it is like $48 for a year. We haven't swapped seeds yet with anyone, but there are some that we need this year that we are going to see about swapping. I think it is definately worth it, and the membership helps keep the Seed Savers farm up and going.

Does this cost money? And if the answer is yes, how much?

My grandfather is a member of Seed Savers! He swaps every year and believes so much in their purpose. He has shared seeds he recieved from them before and they have always done well for me. I would say go for it!
