I had 4 Valentines from the farmgirls AND the Burpee seed catalog in my mailbox today. Just opening the catalog and seeing flowers and vegetables made my day. I can't wait to get my hands in some warm dirt. Although nothing is warm around here lately. We've had night temps of 20 below with wind chills down to 40 below...the sun has been shining like crazy, but it sure isn't warming anything up. I'll just sit under a quilt tonight and curl up with my catalog and dream of warm summer days with fresh vegetables to pick and beautiful flowers to brighten up my home...what are your favorite catalogs to order from?

I got my Burpee's Catalogue a few weeks ago and it really gave me the fever to plant something too. I wish we had our house sold and the new one ordered and placed on our property so that I could make some flower beds or an herb garden. I guess I will have to wait till next fall and spring to do much planting. Sigh

Kelly,
I hear ya!
I'm starting to plan and am just trying to keep it under control, I know I don't want a HUGE garden.
So I have to start to cut back on the really "out there" stuff.
and try to keep it do-able and still in reality

Oh Jan...me too! I also love Baker's Heirloom Seed catalog. Ive been planning and re-planning my spring garden all week...but it is -11 here today, so not quite time to start seeds yet. Maybe by May, LOL!
