Posted - Jan 06 2007 : 1:44:27 PM has anyone noticed that HGTV doesn't have much gardening stuff anymore? It mostly about homes now. Thats ok but I want more gardening or at least even it out a bit. Or maybe I watch it the wrong times. The ones I've seen are really old.

Haven't watched regularly now, due to living abroad as well as in the States, but they are moving their focus to home improvement/decorating, etc. shows. And the few garden shows they still had are firstgrade level, in my opinion. I bemoaned them "axing" the Gardener's Journal and Gardener's Diary...both great shows for advanced/serious/addicted gardeners; but then found out they'd moved their time slot to a ridiculous (my opinion again) time of 6:30 in the morning. I wonder if more people emailed complaints and suggestions perhaps they'd reconsider. Found a decent Saturday noontime garden show here in France to placate me a bit, thankfully! Nance |
