Posted - May 29 2015 : 04:01:36 AM According to MaryJane's calendar today is 'Learn More About Composting Day'. To keep with the spirit of the day I will review what books and magazines I have on composting.
Last year I did bed composting where I buried vegetable parings in a small empty flower bed along back fence. It has since all composted; the chicks have scratched in it so it has been stirred up. When it dries out I will see what I can plant in it.
There's another small bed that I want to do the same thing with this year. Long term I want to save my money for a Earth Machine. Maybe by next spring.
Compost anyone?
