well I am down to the last cuttings of Lilacs,,, and probably by mid week next week the iris will be spent too. Bummer...

I wish they could/would bummer a wee bit longer...

Those flowers made me dream of Spring. We had snow all day today. So much for lilac cuttings. Oh well, it will come.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photo; lilacs are some of my favorites. I had to laugh, though, when I read "last cutting" as you can see how far along our lilac shrubs are here in far west central Wisconsin:) Do they look like they're shivering? Well, I was too! lol
Besides enjoying their fragrance, hand-dyeing with lilac twigs is fun. I actually posted a scarf for sale in the Marketplace section if you want to see the neat, subtle color you get.

Hi Grace. I love the name Grace by the way. Your lilacs are beautiful! Mine are just starting to leaf out. It's a huge relief to see them thriving after the rough winter we had!
