I had to laugh, though, when I read "last cutting" as you can see how far along our lilac shrubs are here in far west central Wisconsin:) Do they look like they're shivering? Well, I was too! lol Besides enjoying their fragrance, hand-dyeing with lilac twigs is fun. I actually posted a scarf for sale in the Marketplace section if you want to see the neat, subtle color you get. Blessings to you on your life's journey.
