it may be snowing now, but we have one of those wonderful indoor "watch'em grow" a pot filled with dafodils, tulips, hyacynths, and grape hyacynths. Wonderful smells, even if I can't spell.

Nini: to celebrate, I will mow my yard! Doesn't need it, but I need to get on that mower and mow!! LOL Your garden sounds cool!
CJ: The green is coming in in the Texas Hill Country, also. I am anxiously awaiting the wild flowers.

Things are turning green in our area . . . helped along by that dump of very wet snow that we had.

I'm been hurrying spring along by decorating my front porch a little each day for over a week. Finished today ~ can't wait for hanging baskets to hit the vegetable stand.

YES!!! I'm so happy! The daylight lasts so much longer lately, and the snow is all gone, and my replacement seeds for cool weather crops just arrived today... I'm hoping - HOPING - to get my carrots, beets, turnips, spinach, and more planted this weekend! I may even throw a few seeds of broccoli in the garden, just to see what happens! I'm so excited - during the last snowstorm, I kept saying I could smell the warm, sweet air of spring, and that it was coming. Looking outside, it seemed an impossibility. I was the only one who had faith and believed. But I was right - I know my trusty old nose! She has never failed me yet! :)

So, Marly, what are you going to do to celebrate?

Hugs -

Nini
