Posted - May 31 2014 : 9:54:40 PM I cleaned my budgie's cage last night and had an idea to shake out the papers into my compost bin. I know people use chicken manure in their compost so why not parakeet poo? He only eats seeds and grains-won't be surprised if oats and millet start growing in my compost. Has anyone else done this? Posted - Jun 01 2014 : 2:01:29 PM I own (or do they own me?) pet birds, including keets, all of their poo goes in the compost and always has, and I know many others that also do that...
