Has anyone raised a curry plant? Can you tell me something about it? Do you harvest the leaves? Silly me, I've only seen curry in a jar in my spice cabinet. Found the plant the other day and brought it home.

I have grown curry in my herb garden before. But the plants are not especially hardy so they don't always survive the winters here. I didn't have enough sun where I planted mine so they didn't grow very fast and I never managed a harvest. I hope you have Bette luck with yours. They do smell nice.

They have beautiful curry plants at the Chicago Botanical Garden, Circle Garden. You can contact them about it if you like. They are beautiful and when you brush your hands over them you can smell the curry. Good luck with yours, I hope someone here has raised one too.
