Posted - Mar 12 2014 : 05:17:44 AM Such beautiful things! I am NOT a garden artist - for years I considered myself lucky if my garden made it all through the summer! LOL! Thanks to you all here at MJF, I'm a lot better at it now, though. :) Your pictures have really inspired me, though, girls. I would love to do something special in my garden this year for my little foster granddaughter - just something unexpected to spark her sense of wonder. I was thinking maybe something with a fairy garden theme... And I'd love to have a fancy little table and chairs set out there under our antique lilac where we can share a special tea... We'll see...

Posted - Mar 09 2014 : 2:11:26 PM Thanks. And thank ya'll for sharing your yarden art. Luv it! I like the colored jars hanging from the trellis. How pretty those would be with candles in them too.
I hear that, Tiana. I have a friend who put a toilet out in her yard and planted it. It looks great. If I did it, it would look like a toilet out in the yard. |

Here is some of my Garden Art. Once we moved into an Apartment..I had to move some of the Art on to My Porch but I still love it and collect it and use it anywhere I can.
The last picture is someone else's garden art that I saw and took a picture of because I thought it was unique.
Loved your Garden Art Carole...thanks for sharing.
Hugs and Smiles, Peggy

Posted - Mar 09 2014 : 05:53:01 AM Carole what an excellent question. I consider myself a garden artist i believe, but in a querky way. My grandmother from tenn. could put a toilet in her front yard and make it looked like it belonged there for all of eternity and look good doing it. I have to work a bit harder at it. I love to make trellis out of grape vine, and small trees and vines, and garden gates etc. If i can get a camera working this spring ill take pics. I love antique things in my gardens as well. I have a double wash tub, with bright yellow daisies planted in it. Getting ready to go to a garden show next weekend. taking my mom and 2 grandaughters. Ill buy some herbs and get great ideas there. I love the marble in the wood fence idea. drill holes and stuff with marbles. when the sun shines it just shimmers with dancing light.
