I know to plant them now but can I put them in a planter instead of the ground? Our garden beds aren't plowed under yet.and I don't want to lose them. I live in Downeast Maine.

Thanx

I plant mine in a herb garden bed. I just work up the area by hand, and plant. I have parsley, basil, loveage, thyme, oregano planted there too.

Lorena I just planted mine. While i believe you can grow anything in a planter, I think they would do better if planted directly in the ground.
