I told Bob I wanted to get a garden hose finial to put at the edge of the flower bed at the front of the house so I could pull the hose around the edge when I was watering. He said show me what you need and i told him and he went out to the shop and made this cute guy. See you pull the hose around it and the hose doesn't knock over the pot and mash the flowers. Looks like I have a few weeds to pull too.

I like your's , so much better than mine, which is a peice of rebar pounded into the ground, with a peice of PVC pipe over it so it turns as the hose is rubbing against it, i might just to have to gussy mine up abit...

Mary Beth, That is so cute! I love the expression in the face too. Imagine a bunch of these all lined up around a garden with different expressions on their faces...that would be great!

I just love a man who can make things with stuff he has laying around the shop or garage. Very handy to have around, I must say. That's a great idea. I have sticks and fence posts in my garden to do that job. But I like yours a lot better.
