Anyone heard of red beans that turn green when cooked? I understand that they're very long and are much better than the traditional green beans.

I had grown the puple ones too and they turn green when cooked.I think they are called Royal Burgendy bush beans and they also have them in pole beans too.

we had a purple bean that did that. I can't remember the name but the weren't too bad...I just stick with my traditional green beans for canning though. They sure are pretty growing.
