Posted - Jun 27 2013 : 09:49:04 AM I had grown the puple ones too and they turn green when cooked.I think they are called Royal Burgendy bush beans and they also have them in pole beans too.

Posted - Jun 26 2013 : 8:08:01 PM we had a purple bean that did that. I can't remember the name but the weren't too bad...I just stick with my traditional green beans for canning though. They sure are pretty growing. Beth |
