Posted - Jun 15 2013 : 04:44:58 AM What is it used for? I bought a plant at our farmers market a couple of weeks ago, and planted it in the vegetable garden. It was new to me so I thought I would try it out. It doesn't seem to be doing too good in the garden. I wonder if the ground is too rich. What do you girls think??

Posted - Jun 15 2013 : 08:11:48 AM Hi Linda, Horehound is used for sore throats and cough syrup. As to growing in your ground check your soil to see if the ph is 6.9. It prefers a deep, well-drained sandy soil and the full sun. Hope this helps. Becky
