Ladies, my DH has created the vegetable garden of my dreams. It is fenced all the way around with woven wire, so no dogs, horses, goats or cows will be visiting and snacking. A water source is inside the fence, so I will not be pulling a half mile of hose. We made 3 level terraces, so I can ditch irrigate, and filled the beds with wondeful new rich soil from the corral. And last week, we put up a small hoop house over the tomatoes, to protect them from frost and hail. I am in heaven. DH asked what I wanted for Mother's Day, I told him I already had the garden of my dreams. He asked, that makes you that happy? Funny how after 43 years of marriage he still had no idea how much his building that garden would mean to me.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Thanks all of you. My tomatoes are doing wondeful inside the hoop house. After last year when they were eaten by who knows what, and pelted by hail 3 or 4 times it is so great to see them growing bigger everyday.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

What a nice garden and nice hubby! A sheer joy to plant in, I'm sure.

Kennie Lynn...aren't men a Mystery sometimes??? Good grief...they just crack me up!
OK...we want to see pictures...that garden sounds just wonderful. I live in an Apartment complex
but I have a little postage stamp garden and I am happy as a clam being able to have that much.

Love hearing about everyones gardens.

Smiles,
Peggy
