Posted - May 07 2013 : 09:05:39 AM My dear friend, Farmer Robin, sent this link to me today. It went so nicely with the two recipes I have up on my blog for dandelion jelly and gluten free dandelion bread. I knew my farmgirls would LOVE to hear it: http://thenerdyfarmwife.com/dandelion-salve-recipe/

Posted - May 07 2013 : 1:15:36 PM Thanks Ann...I hopped on over there and checked it out. Then Bookmarked the site.
I remember reading a book a long time ago I think Called Seattle Brides...and one of the gals brought dandelion seeds from Seattle to Oregon to plant when she got to her new home. I remember laughing at the time because I considered them weeds, along with Queen Anne's Lace.
I don't anymore...but it is great to learn a few other recipes beside Dandelion Wine...which a friend use to make for me...but I haven't had any in 30 years. LOL
Thanks for posting this.
Hugs, Peggy
