I saw this at From Scratch Magazine and just had to share. The cutest, happiest scarecrow I have ever seen. I am making one for my garden.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thanks to Diane, I got moving early this hot, humid morning
and made my scarecrow. I have a small garden, so my scarecrow
is a scaregal! I do hope it works, the birds are using my tomato cages
for a resting post! Also it is quite breezy outside today.

Petunia is a sunny breath of fresh air. I started collecting the
materials last week to make my own scarecrow for the garden.
I think Petunia is adorable. thank you for sharing.

Ok, I made my scarecrow! The first picture is the one that was in From Scratch Magazine and the second picture is mine! I went to Goodwill for her Ralph Lauren dress and the dollar store for her hat and gloves, mop hair and plastic bucket. Her head is a styrofoam ball wrapped in muslin. The apron is from my collection. Everytime I look out at my garden I just want to pick up my skirt and twirl! Now, I just got to name her!

I saw that and love it. Really cute. And I like that it can be moved around too. Post some pics when you're done. I'd love to see her.
