This year I want to try to grow flowers in my garden along with my veggies :) I always have marigolds, but I'm thinking bigger and better! :) I love to have flowers that I can cut and put in my house during the summer!

What kinds of flowers would you suggest I try? AND does anyone have seeds they'd like to barter?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

We plant marigolds around the boarder of our garden. Keep the stink bugs out.

Sheila - I'm planning to do the same!!! I just read a great book called "Great Garden Companions" by Sally Jean Cunningham. If you can get your hands on it, you MUST read it!!! Big ones she suggests are Tansy and Cosmos and Marigolds... And PINK petunias in with your squash because apparently squash bugs HATE PINK petunias! I can't wait to start - can you?! I'm SO excited!!! Hugs - Nini

Dahlia's, Sun flowers, hollyhocks, bachelor buttons cosmos I have an entire end of my garden in flowers 6x20 feet I think it helps the pollination of the vegges too.
