Posted - Feb 11 2013 : 06:16:13 AM Ladies, Friday I drove to Willis, Tx about an hour, and picked up 2 apple, 2 peach, 2 fig trees, and 5 blueberries bushes. I have 25 Tayberry plants ordered. After living here 23 years I finally got my finger out of my ear and made the decision on what types of fruits and berries and have the project under way. The berries will all be planted in plastic tubs that are 55 gallon plastic drums cut in half. We have sandy soil and it will be easier to control the pH this way. All of these will be planted this coming weekend, when DH is off and can help.
