I planted 104 bulbs of all kinds in a flower bed today. I am going to wait and plant remaining 70 bulbs next week in another bed. Thanks to my DH for helping out.

I love bulbs. They give you a lot of bang for your buck, so to speak...Very little effort and a big payoff year after year.

I just love it when the daffodils and tulips start to bloom in the spring. I get a lot of compliments on the blooms. It is a sign of reawakening to me. Just a week ago I planted 6 red hyacinths. I hope they get enough water to bloom next spring.
