Thanks, Penny. I'm hopeful I can do something similar.

Penny, that is exactly what we plan to do. I picked up free windows. Your greenhouse looks great!

Hi Janice
the sides are just screwed together the top has hinges so you can lift one side up you need supports on the sides, for the roof and there is no floor. your bottom four windows should be the same size, the top two can be bigger.i hope that helped some.

Penny, you just rock, girl! I've got some old windows. Do you have any plans or step by step guidelines? I'd love to try, but just don't know how/where to begin. What's the floor? Base? That mini thing is just wonderful, too!

wow that is great Penny, I will be getting a porch built on to the front of our house this fall. I am going to put all girly stuff on it. It will be screened in, I would love to make a green house like that but my hubby just laughs. He is retired and says he works harder now then when he had a real job. hehehe

That is just beautiful!!!! I wanted to do that this year, was waiting for my daughter to get all new windows put in. Well, she brought all the old windows to the dump, says I have too much junk now. I was so upset. I love how a window greenhouse looks. Hope you have a very successful start in the spring.

Very neat. I've seen these before and always thought it was a cool way to use old windows. At $5 a piece you got them for a steal! Thanks for posting pictures! What are you going to grow in it?

I love that! And what a great way to reuse old windows or doors. I have a lot of smaller windows from when we got all new windows. I may have to come up with something like that. Great job!
