What kinds of compost does everyone use?

God bless,

I make my own as well...Its heavy in coffee grounds & eggshells, because Iam addicted to breakfast. :D

When I have to buy it I like the hummus & manure mix, they sell at wall-mart its super cheap is definally better than the garden soil mix I got a couple of years back. It was Scott's brand but I swear it looked like nothing more than top soil & bark dyed black. Really sucked knowing I spent $3 a bag on that.

I also like mushroom compost but I've noticed that you sometimes get mushrooms when you use it so you have to pick them out with the weeds.

Live simply. So that others may simply live.

everything goes into mine but meat and dairy, all manures (except dog/cat, because they are meat eaters, it would probally surprise you how many will dump their litterboxes into their compost piles), I have 3 going at all times, brand new, this years and what I'm utilizing now...

I just make my own from my kitchen scraps and lawn clippings and trimmings from the garden and such.
