For some unknown reason (& we don't have a pond near by) we are getting inundated with lil frogs, both green & brown ones.. which shows you how much I know about frogs! Nada! lol!

I have been chasing them out of my garage, & unfortunatly have backed over a couple who were to stupid & hid behind my tires.. sorry lil froggies.

But yesterday I found one in a flower pot, on the patio table on our upstairs balcony!
Do frogs fly?
I know I am not very knowledgeable about frogs...but?????

I believe in the 'catch & release' theroy.. so I catch 'em...(yes, at 58 I am still playing with frogs)and then I re-locate them out to the Iris patch...
So, either I have a lot of frogs or the same few frogs keep finding their way back to my garage! lol!

michelle, nothing silly at all about being a kind and curious lil girl, my dad tried to take "some" of the tomboy outa me one time, I was about 7 years old and he bought me a doll house, complete with furniture...I immediatly put all my little friends in it, frogs, lizards and a very small garter snake, all my Dad could do was shake his head, laugh, and tell me I was "HIS" little tomboy...needless to say, he never bought me girly stuff again,lol...

Ah yes, the frogs are good to have around, I found a few on my squash plants recently and I am careful not to wash them away with my hose when I am watering. I remember finding a little green tree frog when I was just a small girl in Florida. It was the first time I had ever seen one (being born and raised in Chicago). I used to go out and check on that little frog every day and talk to it...lol...seems silly now, but I have always remembered that and loved the little frogs.

put a pan/bowl of water in your garden, along with a few upside down plant pots, ( un-painted terra cotta types are best and they will burrow under them to hide), and they will be as happy as can be, eating all them bugs up...

they are most likely tree frogs, they have little suction cups on the bottom of their toes, which enables them to climb just about any surface, having them around will knock the insect pop down , alot...you are a lucky girl...
