I just read the topic about slugs and wonder if any of the suggestions will work on rolley polleys? I have them everywhere. I think they are eating my radishes. Something eats on my radishes right at ground level or just below. Can't find any other bug around so it must be them. Any ideas?

I looked them up on the net. They are called sow bugs or pill bugs, but we call them roly polys as well. They eat mostly dead vegetation. They will eat live stuff if they must, but are usually a good bug to have around. Except in your house! They are eatin rottin wood and so they point out a problem like termites or rot damage. Not fun!

I don't know for sure but I think that roly polys only eat dead wood or rotting material sort of like earth worms only eat dead woody stuff too. Something eating at ground level sounds sort of like cut worms, or maybe mice.
