Posted - Apr 22 2012 : 3:27:12 PM I picked about 10 peaches from my peach trees today and made a peach cobbler. I dug up about 20 little red potatoes to go with my meat loaf tonight. Also I picked squash and zucchinni from the garden yesterday. Love the garden. Can't wait to dig in tonight with the FAM.....

Posted - Apr 26 2012 : 9:45:44 PM Hubby just planted our garden yesterday. Sometimes we can get an early start and won't have to replant but our last freeze is around June 10th. He fenced it up real good this year. Last year the deer ate EVERYTHING....grrrr! I am so happy you are enjoying your peaches Dorinda! Laura

Posted - Apr 23 2012 : 6:12:51 PM Dorinda,
You made my mouth water! I love peach cobbler. My mother makes it with lots of "cobs" as she calls them, which means lots of crust. I have only just started our garden and the weather forecast is predicting a frost tonight. Thankfully, I haven't planted tomatoes or any other things that might get "bit," but we do have blueberries so I'm praying they'll be okay.
