Posted - Sep 20 2006 : 9:06:52 PM Here's another "tip", learned from an icky experience... After you dry orange slices you might want to give 'em a quick spray with a matte type sealer-both sides (and yes, they STILL smell good!) This only takes a second but will keep out the buggaboos! One season we enjoyed an infestation of tiny worms eating away at my lovely "Autumnal" decor-over the dinig room table! Can you say EW!? I have had similar experiences with fresh bittersweet when I had my herb shop! Just a thought! :) Your garlands DO sound wonderful Frannie! And oh soooo Prim! Rhonda

Posted - Sep 20 2006 : 8:17:02 PM nancy .. if you dry it thoroughly enough .. it shouldn't turn black or moldy. if you live in a high humidity environment ... toss them back in the oven for awhile to re-dry them.
i only use them for one season .. and then toss them (or make pot pourii from them).
lynn .. being PRIMITIVE .. i use a rusty wire.

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
