Dorinda,

How lucky you are! We are still too cold and have ice on the ground. But I did buy my seeds the other day. Will get them started indoors soon. Have fun!

Crystal Yes I think I would get it cleaned out now and would also move the plants while they are little. Don't know much about Crocus if that are easy to transplant or not. I don't know any thing about their root system. Good Luck.

Going to plant my seed pots today. We have decided until we get a tractor we will not be planting anymore corn. My seeds I ordered havent gotten here yet so I will plant what I have. Which my husband says is just fine with him. I am so excited about getting my

I have two questions. My mom last fall didn't clean any of her flower beds out and currently it is now a dead tangled mess. Should I clean it out now or wait for spring? It has been really mild here and the spring flowers are starting to come up. And she has had lots of crocus come up away from the others. Should I move them now that they are just starting to come up or wait until they are all done?

We planted our onion seeds on Valentine's day and they're doing well. Next week - weather permitting - we're putting a "real" fence around the garden - no more hodge podge of plastic fence around different areas. We're expanding and fencing the whole area in - to proect it from the dogs... Really looking forward to getting my hands dirty... Good luck everyone.

I have 150 starts growing under a grow light. I am doing all heirlooms, and I have already lost track of tomato types.

Good luck with your gardens this year ladies. I know I'm getting such an itch to get out there and DIG! Tamara, I love the SSE catalog - it is lovely!

it's our first year in our new home and as the soil is... clay... i've been out working the flowerbeds all winter (it's been a really mild winter). I plan to do "edible landscaping," i've already started cucmbers, several types of peppers, and some herbs indoors. waiting on some seed to come in from seed saver's exchange. suuuuper excited!!!

We haven't started yet, but it will be soon. I cannot wait. Good luck with your garden.
