We're finally getting real snow, and suddenly my Christmas cactus is bursting into bloom. It usually has one blossom between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year there's going to be at least three--so I guess the delay has been good for it. How funny, though. Can the weather outside really influence a houseplant that much? Is my cactus looking out the window and acting like the season it sees?

What a beautiful bloom. I'm confused about this winter weather too. It was 34 degrees here at 10 AM in the morning. That is cold for me and for Louisiana, especially at that time in the morning.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures.
