Posted - Nov 23 2011 : 09:10:51 AMWe cleaned up the garden yesterday and removed the last of the squash, most frozen and unidentifiable though not because of the frost. We had a lot of volunteer squash and though I pulled some I had a hard time pulling too many. That won't happen again. The results along with what I planted in my squash row was a mish mash of crosses I couldn't label.
Lesson learned: keep your squash separated. We had spaghetti cross with acorn and zucchini with everything. Though some of it was still edible, a lot was not.
