Posted - Jul 18 2011 : 11:50:01 AM Does anyone have any experience with these? We have these weird puff balls growing on our roses and the extension folks told us they are caused by gall wasps. They said all you can do is cut the galls off, but that will mean we will have to cut off a lot of our roses. We have probably 60 or 70 rose bushes and the wasps have only bothered maybe 6 or 7 of them. Just wondering if anyone knows of anything else we can do about them. |

Posted - Jul 18 2011 : 6:02:08 PM I've seen galls on all types of plants--they look unsightly, but usually the plant survives just fine. Maybe if you put wasp traps near your roses, it would help prevent them from occuring. Cindy
