A friend of mine sent this link of the state flowers this morning -

It read:

Did you ever wonder , if you put all 50 state flowers together in a bouquet, what it would look like . It's truly beautiful!!

I found this link while searching for a flower to embroidery. It is also on my favorites as a "someday" quilt!

The state flower bouquet is beautiful. Here's a link for state flower quilt blocks.

This lady posts each completed block as she embroiders. She also has different ways to put them together for a quilt. They are also beautiful.

I miss you, too, Melody - I was just thinking about you over the weekend, actually! It's just been busy around here, as I'm sure it has been for you! I'm sure we have SOOO much to catch up on! We'll definitely touch base soon, okay? Let's virtual-pinky-swear! :)

I'd love to see what you do with those squares - are you going to make a quilt? How beautiful that would be!!!

Oh Nini...that just reminded me-While I was "decluttering" for the BIG PARTY I came across some muslin squares with the State Flowers that had been embroidered on each panel. I am going to dig around in my sewing cupboard and see if I can find them. Thanks for the post dear friend!

Miss our chats....
