We finally have a few cucumber buds and my sons ate 4 whole beans today :0). FOUR!
It's been such odd weather here in NE PA I was wondering if anything would begin to bloom at all. The tomas are growing, but of course nothing yet! And the greens are nearly ready to munch on I think the local rabbits are quite annoyed that I do not have them closer to the ground!
So glad to have a place to share this. Some think I am a little crazy to be excited over 4 whole beans but I know you all understand! I have not gardened in so many years it is such a great feeling.

Just a Brooklyn, NY gal trying to figure out this country thing after 12+ years in the woods of NE PA! Wife of my HS sweetie going on 23 years and mom to the amazing four ages 19(g), 17(s), 14(s), 13(s)!

I too, am suffering from the late season we had. My tomato plants are just now starting to bloom. My herbs have been up for awhile, but my tomatoes and beans are just now starting out. Our corn had to be replanted because of critters, yoo-it's been a tough year-but it's all looking good now, at least! Your garden looks so great, nini!

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..

LOL I really DO understand! I'll be dancing a jig just to see some blooms on my beans never mind the beans! It has been a crazy spring here too. Everything is way behind schedule and I'm getting impatient.
