It took me long enough---about 2 weeks late for even my cold NE PA air, but I did buy just a FEW plants and herbs this year. It has been 5 years since my last garden and my first time in this "new" house. We've been here 4 years and I finally have the time to devote to some planting! Starting small with:
A few sauce tomatoes
slicing tomatoes
cherry tomatoes
cucumbers--2 kinds
Salad greens
Herbs-rosemary, basil, lemon thyme, dill

Hopefully I will have pics of my first attempt at container gardening!

Good luck with your garden. Sounds like some good stuff you've got planted so far. That's the best way to do it too. Small. I have scaled way back this year. But it's my canning year. I used to have a market garden. But I am going to use that field for my new sheep. I am getting 3 ewes tomorrow!

Sounds like you have some good stuff to start with. Good fortune with your container gardening!
