Posted - Jun 13 2011 : 4:25:41 PM It took me long enough---about 2 weeks late for even my cold NE PA air, but I did buy just a FEW plants and herbs this year. It has been 5 years since my last garden and my first time in this "new" house. We've been here 4 years and I finally have the time to devote to some planting! Starting small with: A few sauce tomatoes slicing tomatoes cherry tomatoes cucumbers--2 kinds Salad greens Herbs-rosemary, basil, lemon thyme, dill
Hopefully I will have pics of my first attempt at container gardening!

Posted - Jun 13 2011 : 7:29:57 PM Good luck with your garden. Sounds like some good stuff you've got planted so far. That's the best way to do it too. Small. I have scaled way back this year. But it's my canning year. I used to have a market garden. But I am going to use that field for my new sheep. I am getting 3 ewes tomorrow!
