I have picked about 1 and a half bushels of Tomatoes so far. Lots of squash, All my potatoes are gone. Fixing to plant okra. Still have some tomatoes left and I have about 10 quarts of corn so far. What have you harvested so far?

Radishes, lettuce, and about 3 or 4 pints of strawberries. I am seeing blossoms on the peas, so should have them in a couple of weeks. Turnips are just starting to get big enough to harvest, have also dried some oregano. Tomatoes and peppers are waiting for some nice warm days to grow. We had mid 60s and rainy today, so guess they will wait a while longer

Wow, I'm feeling like a slacker. I'm still looking for the butternut squash seeds to germinate and everything else is tiny, tiny. We had frost up to Mother's Day in our area. A lot of folks had to replant things they put out too early. However, the first batch of garlic I planted last fall looks promising!

In our area without, cold framing, only the real early crops are ready so far- radishes (very tasty this year!), and lettuce, etc.......
I planted heirloom varieties exclusively this year and they are all coming up so nice! I just cannot wait for the first tomato- I just can't bring myself to buy them at the store, they are so different, that my family doesn't even call them tomatoes- we call them storematoes ;-)

I got a ripe Mt. Fresh tomato tonight!!!! happy, happy, joy, joy!!! I am so glad to see it. Plus about 5 cherry tomatoes too. I have some beets just about ready. I have been picking collard greens from last year. And I have a few little brocolli heads forming. Can hardly wait for those.

Up here in the mountains of NE PA I am about 2 weeks LATE even getting my plants in the ground! Planning on getting them in on Wednesday 0_o so I hope I have SOME bounty this year! Only my first time planting in this "new" house...we've been here four years. So, maybe in a few weeks I will have something to report :0)! YAY for those south of us...enjoy the yummy rewards!

Here is south Alabama, I have picked, shelled, given away and canned peas til I'm sick of peas. Corn is in the freezer and now I'm working on tomatoes and cukes. I am just beginning to see blooms on the okra. Potatoes and onions are finished. Oh, I can't forget all the jelly. I have been very busy for the last 3 weeks and don't see an end in sight. How do all you girls handle this work year after year? This is the first time in about 10 years I've had this many vegies.

lucky for you all! this post is such a tease... we up this direction are barely yet seeing the little golden flowers on our tomatoes. Things are sure slow this year! (but actually better than last year this time) been a couple of bad garden years, had to order produce from local larger farmers last year to get canning done for winter!

Wow, you girls are doing great already! You would think being in Arizona that we would be harvesting too but not quite yet, another couple of weeks before we start getting the squash and tomatoes.

We've got some squash, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach (earlier in the year) and corn so far along with a small handful of strawberries and blackberries. Waiting on potatoes (planted them late) and more of what we've already harvested. Farm fresh is so good!

Dorinda, look under Farm Kitchen, there is some posted including mine about what we have harvested. My okra is just coming in, I have put up some, but I know the hotter it gets, the more I will pick. My corn has done so poorly for the last 3 years, that I did not even plant any this year. Good Luck to you and your garden! Happy gardening! Farmgirl #946 Linda
