I have morning glory seeds sprouting in the backyard and want a trellis of some sort. does anyone have any ideas for making one myself ? I have some wood in the garage was thinking of putting in two posts and wrapping rope between, would that work ?

a tepee made out of bamboo poles works great for morning glorys, and you can attach something on the top for added art appeal...

How about an old ladder? I started a post about just that! I bought some morning glory seeds yesterday and need to find a place for this old ladder that I have.

But your idea would work just fine. Maybe paint the wood some pretty bright color to jazz it up a bit?

Chicken wire works well too.
