Posted - Jun 07 2011 : 06:49:16 AM What a year. With all the frost/ freezing this spring and the garden needing a major plowing, we just finished planting. Hubby had to borrow the tractor from the neighbor which put us a bit behind too, but since he had taken out four rows of apples, yes it's a HUGE garden, we needed to do a decent job on the soil.
There is also lavender over there now, but he just keeps looking at me and shaking his head. "Hope you like to weed." I didn't ask for that many rows! Silly man, but between the ground cloth and the straw, I'm hopeful.
Now to watch it all grow. This is the best part!
