Posted - May 03 2011 : 6:29:29 PM Elaine, thanks I guess I just have to keep turning and adding my scraps. Rebekah, my question is do they really work? I've had compost piles and they are so hard to turn.I'm hoping the tumbler does the work.

I love my tumbler. I've had it for two years. It is really easy to manage. I turn it every day. When the wether is warmer it composts quicker. Doesn't smell, no critters can get to it and it composts quickly(with warmer weather and turning every day). I go it in Lowes for about $70. Easy to put together also!

Posted - May 03 2011 : 1:58:51 PM I was thinking about getting one of those too. I have so called compost bins that my hubby plays with. He doesn't understand that you move the compost from bin one to bin two then bin three. So all of them are the same and it bothers the heck out of me. |
