I was just reading the May 2011 issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine and came across a full page ad advertising National Public Gardens Day 2011. If you log onto www.BHG.com/freegarden
you will be taken to the home page with all sorts of neat info. This year the free gardens day is Friday May 6th. There are hundreds of Public Gardens and Arboretums across the country which will allow 2 free admissions on this day. You have to print your free passes from the BHG website.
Always nice to get something for FREE and what a lovely prelude to Mothers Day this is!

Glad you all found it useful- I just think it is a fabulous deal- too good to pass up! We all need to take more time and "smell the flowers" and this is just the perfect opportunity to do so!

Oh! This is SO great, Laurie! Thank you! We just spent a good part of Easter Sunday at the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh - it was absolutly wonderful! I see they're on there, too! We'll definitely be going back with friends! This is so great!!! I will definitely pass this information along so others can take some time to smell the flowers, too! Thank you so much for sharing with us! Hugs - Nini

Thank you, Laurie. I have always wanted to go to Calawy Gardens. I'll see if they are on there.
