Posted - Apr 22 2011 : 3:57:58 PM Went to Lowes today & checked out the "last chance plant rack" They had bags of garlic & onion "bulbs" so I nabbed some at 75¢ a bag,and also got a larkspur. Really pretty-never had a larkspur before so I looked it up online & saw it's a biggie in English gardens. Must be my ancestry coming out. Looked up garlic & onion planting tips & plan on doing that tomorrow. Also got a pretty Easter lily for $1.01 (wierd price!)

Posted - Apr 22 2011 : 6:11:27 PM What great finds! Good luck with you winnings! I love that bargain rack at Lowes. Last year I got a bunch of GORGEOUS geraniums in hanging baskets on there for $1.50 each BEFORE Memorial Day. I transplanted them into huge urn planters on my deck and boy oh boy- were they beautiful. No idea why they were marked down to that price so early....but hey- it worked for me!
