Okay, it was just my potting soil for my seedlings, not outside, but it was something! I started my spinach and lettuce in some super deep window boxes and I got my tomatoes, peppers and broccoli all in starter cups. Woohoo!

I planted my seeds in starter trays for beefsteak, roma and sauce tomatoes. Today I planted two starter trays with three different kinds of peppers, two herbs, luffa, cantaloupe and various flowers. It felt so great. My tomatoes are now about an inch and a half tall. So great to see new things growing.

I was able to get out today and with some help fro my dad, I built two more raised bed frames. I also was able to straighten out my fence, after this winter it was all wonky from the snow. Tomorrow I am going to start my seeds - I just can't wait!

I just planted some daylillies and iris a friend gave the last week. I have a little round bed with a bird bath in the middle. I had zinnias last year and the chickens kept getting in and messing it all up. So this year I will try big plants. I had some lamb's ear that came back up too. So that should be really pretty soon. I love daylillies. So I got to play imn the dirt too. I love dirty fingernails.

I played in the dirt today too! I started my tomato and pepper seeds in Jiffy pots. I watered them real good and covered them and set them on top of the refrigerator (it's a good place for them to germinate cause it's warm).
