Posted - Jul 05 2006 : 06:39:33 AM Ten things I cannot go without on my farm:
1. Morning walk (one mile) with DH and Puppy-Dawg first thing in the morning, drinking from a steaming mug of fresh percolated coffee. 2. View from my kitchen sink window; rarely an hour goes by without seeing wildlife of some sort. 3. Garden tools, trimmers, and cart. 4. Fresh cut arrangement of roses, flowers and or plants brought inside the house. 5. The sight of new baby calves in the field. 6. Bales of hay. 7. Well earned aching muscles after a long day working on multiple projects. 8. Hammock under the oak trees. 9. Cooking equipment. 10. DH and Puppy-Dawg - I know I already mentioned them in the first item but they each deserve their own billing!

I'm missing that this weekend to suppliment feed a puppy. 7) All of my gardening tools 8) All of my cooking equipment 9) My grandmother's things - two family antique dressers, and her sterling silver, some of which are family heirlooms 10) hunting quail and pheasant with my DH and the German Shorthairs 11) Crocheting 12) did I mention my family?
Ok, so I went to twelve!

Posted - Jun 30 2006 : 09:49:27 AM My pots, pans, baking tins, balance, cookie tins, cookie cutters, mixing bowls, wooden spoons, measuring cups and spoons, rolling pin, baking sheets, spices, flour, sugar... Is that 10 yet? Can you see a trend here?
I'm downsizing for the summer and I have to somehow survive in a kitchen a THIRD of the size I'm used to! You can't open the oven and the fridge at the same time the place is so small! But it's not for that long, I'll live.
