Posted - Mar 09 2011 : 8:36:03 PM Today was the first day that I didn't desperatly cling to my coat as we walked to the car. Today was the first day that when I took that first breath of outside air I could say "Ah! Spring is coming!"
Most of the snow is out of our yard and leaving a soaking wet mess behind, but that's okay too. It is so nice to see some seasonal change. I am ready for it!
Last night I started some seeds and I can't wait to see the green seedlings start poking up! I am hoping that they will sprout and grow swiftly as I want to get to planting and growing as quickly as possible!!

Posted - Mar 09 2011 : 9:50:14 PM I've been enjoying some beautiful spring-like weather, too Alee! It's so good to inhale deeply and not feel your lungs crinkling inside! LOL! Don't you just love the air's sweet smell? You're right... Aaaaahhhhh! The dirt is all damp and squishy, too - makes me want to pull out the gardening gloves and trowel and get digging! And there are hyacinth and tulip leaves popping up through the ground everywhere - beautiful, welcome signs of life!!! Alas, tomorrow we're expecting more snow... I'm praying it will come and go quickly. Nevertheless, tonight, my seed order is in! Yeeeee hah!!!
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Let the green begin!
Hugs -
