***Someone else mentioned they had seeds too so let's change this for anyone that has seeds to swap or give away. That way we can all see what seeds are up in one place.***

All right ladies. I have a lot of squash seed I have saved from this past year and am willing to share if you can cover postage. I have

Acorn squash
Spaghetti Squash
Australian Butter

also
Sugar pumpkins.

I'll have more as time goes and will update.

Hey girls, I did my peas on St.Pattys day and I have a bunch left, anyone interested in a seed swap? They are not heirloom quality but they do grow.

Edit: Also add kale to that short list, I went to plant my broccoli this evening to start it, and well it was kale not broccoli, oops.

In exchange I will take any flower seeds or roots that someone is willing to part with.

I was curious, does anyone have any of the seeds left?
Montrose Girl Posted - Mar 18 2011 : 06:46:00 AM
Ok, So I'm finalizing the last seed shipment. I'm sending to Lisa M, Mary F, Mary G, Megan W, Jani in OH, Marsha, and Delicia (by the way I love your name).

If anyone else has contacted me about seeds and I said yes, but you aren't listed, let me know. Lots of emails.

I won't have any more this year after this. I've enjoyed this. Best of luck planting and do let me know how they worked for you. Only way we learn.

Marjean, I do have some heirlooms. Some may not be, I'll have to check. A few of my squash I've been saving for several years and I had picked them up from the local farmer's market so I don't know. I do have the spaghetti, some acorn and afew others. Email me if you are interested.

I've got some fine-leafed bush basil seeds left from Park Seed Co. if someone wants them. Also, I have some Love Lies Bleeding Amaranth seeds that I got off of someone here on MJF-they're heirloom seeds, and they grew BEAUTIFULLY last year! I need pumpkin, REGULAR basil (I couldn't use the bush stuff!) and maybe some gourd seeds! :) Anything interesting I'm willing to try at least once!!!

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.

Laurie, would love to have some Acron Squash seeds, I can send envelope and postage, let me know address and if you still have some.

Bren, also would love to try the turban squash, I can send envelope and postage, let me know.

I don't have any seeds right now, but am working this year on saving my seeds, I also do not want GMO seeds. I just received my Baker seed catalog, WOW it is beautiful.
Happy planting to all you girls, already have some potatoes, and my onions in ground, and have some seeds started indoors. Farmgirl #946 Linda

I'm looking for White Holly hocks, does anyone have any? Also I am planting 2 varieties of tomatoes and it would be neat to have something like a Cherokee purple or a big yellow variety. Preferably heirlooms.

I have some hybrid (I know, I know) seeds from Gurneys called Northern Xtra-sweet Bicolor corn, it matures in 67 days. I was going to plant it last year but I decided to try a variety of Mandan Bride instead. If anyone is interested in them I have two packs of 250 seeds each, but of course they are treated because they are from Gurneys. I would hate for them to go to waste because they were pretty pricey. Thanks!

Mary,
I just wanted to publicly thank you for your kindness. An email didn't seem enough. It's been a truely tough year for us, and your kindness made such an impact on me. Thank you for the seeds.(((hugs)))

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

Mary...I would love some lavender if you have any left and bunching onions.

I have some unusual foxglove...mauve and then regular purple

also a rare lavender poppy (large pod)

Would be willing to trade them for squash or any veggie seed.

Lisa I don't have any lavender. (We are planting lots this year, though) I'll have to look back through and adjust that reference if it made you think I did. It might have been someone else.

Mary has the lavender.

Sandy, my mind is boggled by your extensive list!! :-) I need some time to go through some of my seeds to see if I have anything on your wish list.
Laurie, If you have any lavender left, I would be glad to include them in my garden. Let me now what to do.
Thanks everyone, don't you just love planning for spring? ---L
lisalisa Posted - Feb 18 2011 : 4:52:33 PM
Laurie, I would love some acorn squash! Yum! :) Do you have any sugar pumpkin left? We've tried regular pumpkins, but had to pollinate by hand - bees are sometimes either scarce or seem confused...
I will email my address, will just a regular envelope do, or padded for safety!?
Thank you! ---L
